I graduated from Columbia University in 2008 on the Dean's List. I am currently working on my PhD in English Literature at Stony Brook University. I have also studied Spanish at the Centro de Lenguas Modernas in Granada, Spain. My dissertation is in Renaissance England--particularly John Milton. I have also written essays on Thomas More (Utopia) and Galileo.

Experienced tutor of kids ages 10-21. Experienced editor of grant proposals, applications, etc. My GRE Scores: Quant:760 (85th percentile), Verbal: 760 (99th percentile), 6.0. I have been a substitute music teacher at a private upper-east side middle school, covering two maternity leaves for the same teacher over a period of a few years. I have been an English teacher at a small, special-needs-centered High School. I currently teach college courses in English Literature at Stony Brook University.
