I want to help children learn study habits that will carry them through the rest of their lives, and give a solid foundation that will help them not only in their trouble areas but transcend to a more optimistic view of their own abilities.
HobbiesI'm interested in philosophy, comparative literature, cartoons, teaching, and, most of all, all types of science (neuroscience being my favorite of all!). I'm an aspiring M.D./Ph.D student, but for this summer require a surgery r for an old gymnastics injury (gymnastics was my biggest passion in high school!) I will be in Stony Brook available to tutor an array of subjects: I am quite experienced in tutoring and have taken many classes at college as well that I believe I could be a tutor for, and I have had excellent results helping my friends with SAT prep in the past. Above everything, I really want to make sure kids learn the value and the fun in studying, because it's something that I've come to love and enjoy so much as an academic practice.
